Frequently Asked Questions

1 – Do I need to sign-up to the site to buy?
No, sign-up is not required but it is recommended.
To sign-up you need to click on the upper right of the item registered or, alternatively, before confirming an order.
If you would place an order without sign-up, you need only fill the forms for billing and shipping informations.

2 - When is my order confirmed?
Once payment is received, your order will be processed within 2 working days. The shipment is carried out by the Italian Post Office - SDA or by DHL (depending on the geographical area), which will send the goods within 24/72 hours.

3 - What are the shipping costs?

Shipments are made by courier. For any shipment are applied the following rates:

4 - What should I do if a package arrives tampered with, opened or damaged?
In the event that the packaging has been tampered with, opened or damaged, you must accept the package from the courier with a signature and request to check the box, indicating the type of problem found. In this way we will have the opportunity to open the appropriate insurance practice. Without warning, the product is considered delivered correctly; all the documents in the outside pocket of the package should be conserved. The courier is obliged to deliver the package only after the signing of the delivery docket.

5 - What happens if the courier does not find me at home?
The courier makes two attempts for delivery, after which the package will remain in storage at the nearest Post Office.
At the time your order is shipped, a tracking number will be sent to follow the route of your parcel.

6 - When do I receive my invoice?
An invoice is sent to the customer by email and with the goods.

7 – Can you add items not in stock to cart?
Generally not. It should however be stated that the system updates inventory every hour and it can happen that an item may result in being available and for sale. In such cases you will be contacted immediately.

8 - What are the payment methods?

  • PayPal and Credit Cards: you can pay securely using your PayPal account, your credit card or debit card. Registration is not required
  • Credit Card: you can pay with your credit card, debit card, or Satispay easily and securely via the Banca Sella Axerve circuit. Verification via your bank’s app might be required
  • Scalapay: you will pay for your order in 3 interest-free installments. To use Scalapay, you need to have an active account. If you don't have one yet, you can create it before confirming the payment. You can choose to pay with Scalapay for orders not exceeding €1500 (including any shipping costs). With the completion of the order, you will pay the first installment, and the following installments will be charged in the subsequent two months.
  • Bank Transfer: pay by sending us a bank transfer. The bank details will be sent to you via email upon order confirmation. The shipment will be dispatched once the payment is credited
  • Cash on Delivery (Only Italy): you can pay by cash upon delivery of your purchase. This payment option includes a € 6.00 surcharge that will be added to your order total.

9 - How can I make a return or exchange goods?
To return a product not compling with the order, or to exercise the right to a refund pursuant to art. 64 of Legislative Decree no. 205/06, you must send a written notice to ecommerce@bottaeb.it no later than 10 working days of receipt. The items must be returned intact, in the same state in which they were received and in their original packaging. Once goods are received, a verification of the condition will be made and an eventual exchange or refund.

The costs of return shipment are covered by the customer. Their cost is:

Return from Italy: 8.00 €
Return from EU Countries: 15.00 €

The cost of return will be retained from the order refund.

All returns must be shipped from the same country they were delivered.

10 - Can I cancel an order?
To cancel an order you must contact us before receiving the notification of the dispatch and in any case no later than 1 day from the order.

11 - How can I check the status of my order?
To check the status of your order, you have to access your account and click on "Customer Orders."
At this point you can check status by which can be:

  • "Waiting":  awaiting payment
  • "In progress": our employees are preparing the order for shipping
  • "Sent": the products have been delivered to the courier. In this case you will receive an e-mail from the courier with a link and a tracking number to follow your order's shipment
